What we build

Every calculator on this site shows its formula, a worked example, and a plain-language explanation of how the number was reached, not just a black-box result. We’d rather you understand the math than just trust it blindly.

Accuracy

Every formula on this site is built from standard, publicly documented methods, the same amortization formula lenders use for mortgages, the Mifflin-St Jeor equation for calories, and WHO’s published BMI categories. We periodically review each calculator for accuracy. If you spot an error, please tell us using the contact page.

What we’re not

EquateWorld is an informational tools site, not a financial advisory firm, medical provider, or academic institution. Our calculators produce estimates to help you understand a topic and plan ahead; they don’t replace advice from a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
